### Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team in the pharmaceuticals sector based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in managing our procurement processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of pharmaceutical products and materials.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to optimize costs and enhance product quality. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions.

- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, negotiating contracts and managing supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines.

- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained, reducing excess inventory while preventing stockouts.

- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new product developments, using this information to inform purchasing decisions.

- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with local regulations and industry standards, particularly those specific to pharmaceuticals. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to evaluate supplier quality and performance.

- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of purchasing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide necessary training.

- Budget Management: Develop and manage the purchasing budget, ensuring that all expenditures align with organizational financial goals. Prepare reports on purchasing activities and variances for senior management.

- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and production, to align purchasing activities with overall business objectives.

### Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPP, CPSM) is a plus.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement within the pharmaceutical industry or a related field.

- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
