Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Security Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing effective security protocols to safeguard our pharmaceutical facilities, personnel, and sensitive data. The Security Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards, while fostering a culture of safety and security within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Security Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and policies tailored to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats and develop mitigating strategies.
2. Team Management:
- Lead and manage the security team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Provide ongoing professional development and training to security personnel to ensure adherence to best practices and protocols.
3. Surveillance and Monitoring:
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of surveillance systems, access control mechanisms, and other security technologies.
- Monitor security operations and respond to incidents or alarms in a timely manner.
4. Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to pharmaceutical security.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies as needed.
5. Incident Response:
- Develop and implement incident response plans and protocols for security breaches, theft, or other emergencies.
- Conduct investigations into security incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for future prevention.
6. Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with department heads to integrate security measures into daily operations.
- Collaborate with human resources to conduct background checks and security screenings for new hires.
7. Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage the security budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high-security standards.
8. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and regulations in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Propose and implement improvements to existing security policies and procedures as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing security protocols and strategies.
- Strong understanding of local security regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in the use of security technology and software.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, or similar) are a plus.
