Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to oversee our information technology security operations in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security management, risk assessment, incident response, and compliance. This role will be pivotal in developing and implementing security strategies to protect our organization’s information assets from threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the organization’s information security strategy, policies, and procedures to safeguard sensitive data and IT infrastructure.
- Conduct regular security assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate measures for mitigation.
- Oversee the implementation of security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
- Manage incident response efforts, including the investigation of security breaches and the development of remediation plans.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into system design and development processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
- Monitor and report on security metrics and incidents to senior management, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions, and advise the organization on necessary upgrades or changes.
- Lead a team of security professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to support their professional development.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security management or a related field.
- Proven experience in risk management, incident response, and security operations.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Working Conditions:
- This position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and may require occasional travel.
- The role may involve working outside of standard business hours during security incidents or emergencies.
