Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to oversee and enhance the safety and security operations within an educational institution in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security protocols, ensuring a safe learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. The Security Manager will work closely with various stakeholders to foster a culture of safety and compliance while responding effectively to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Security Planning and Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols tailored to the educational environment.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
- Create and manage emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and crisis management strategies.

- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and train security personnel, ensuring adherence to established security protocols and policies.
- Foster a collaborative and proactive security team environment, encouraging continuous professional development and training.

- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding safety and security in educational institutions.
- Monitor and evaluate security systems and technology, ensuring they meet the institution's needs and industry standards.

- Incident Response and Investigation:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all security-related incidents, conducting thorough investigations and reporting findings.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during incidents, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with school administrators, faculty, and staff to promote a culture of safety and security awareness within the educational community.
- Organize and conduct security training sessions and workshops for staff and students to enhance their understanding of safety protocols.

- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and responses, preparing detailed reports for management review.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on security issues, trends, and improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, preferably within an educational or institutional setting.
- Strong knowledge of security technologies, systems, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures and crisis management.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Professional certification in security management (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP)).
- Experience in developing security training programs for staff and students.
- Fluency in Arabic is a plus.

Working Conditions:

- This position may require working outside of regular business hours in response to security incidents or emergencies.
- The role may involve physical activity, including monitoring the premises and engaging with the community.
